How to create non project status Top

Navigation: System Setup > Workflow Management > Non Project Status

Purpose: To create/edit non project status.

Usage:

  • To create non project status fill all the detail given in "Controls" section and click on [Save Record] button. It will save the record and grid will be populated with new entry.
  • To edit non project status click on [Edit] link in the grid, which will populate the details for selected status. Change the values and click on [Save Record] button to update the workflow status.

Field Descriptions:

  • Status Name (text box): Name of the status
  • Instance Type (drop down box): List of non-project instance types
  • Status Order (text box): Activation order of the status with respect to the other statuses defined in the workflow.
  • Status Code (text box)Displays the Status code defined for the selected status. 
  • Is Active (check box): Indicates if status is active
  • Initial Status (check box): Indicates if this status is initial status

How to create non project status workflow Top

Navigation: System Setup > Workflow Management > Non Project Status Workflow

Purpose: To add/edit/delete non project workflow.

Usage:

  • To create non project workflow click on [Add Workflow] button. It will open a dialog to fill all the information given in above section and click on [Save Record] button to save the workflow.
  • To add an alert, click on [Add Alert] button. It will open the Manage Alert Notification screen. A detailed explanation for the same can be found under the section titled Alert Management under the Administrator tab.
  • To edit click on common status link and it will open the dialog with existing data for selected workflow. Update the values in the fields and click on [Save Record] button to update the existing record.
  • To delete workflow click on link to delete the selected row.

  • Instance Type: list of non-project Instance types

Screen 2:

  • Instance Type (drop down list): list of non-project Instance types
  • Project Status (drop down list): list of non-project current statuses
  • Next Project Status (drop down list): list of non-project current statuses
  • User Group (drop down list): list of user groups
  • Button Text (Options) (text box): Text which will be displayed on workflow button
  • Button CSS (drop down list): Lists the change in colour of the button on activation.
  • Button Order (text box): Order of button to display
  • Alert Category (drop down list): Lists the alert categories available. 
  • Alert (drop down list): list of non-project alerts defined in the system to be associated with workflow
  • Show Save & Exit Button (check box): Check if want to show "Save & Exit" button
  • Allow Comments (check box): Check if want to allow comment
  • Is Active (check box): Check to make active
  • Override Validations (check box)Check if you wish to override any validations set for the selected status.
