Review of the Financial Report
When Agency submits a financial report, the CERF Finance Officer will be informed through email notification, and a task of Review Financial Report will appear in the Financial Report Task List inbox of their OneGMS homepage.
To review the Financial Report, the CERF Finance Officer may click on the blue redirect icon (
) next to the task name, to view the report as well as the signed Financial Report.
The CERF Finance Officer may leave external comments for the Agency HQ Financial Team to address during redraft. Please click here for more guidance.
Approve the Financial Report
After CERF Finance review of the report, the CERF Finance Officer, may enter any missing information in Section 1, including the Grantor Claim Number.

When review is complete, the CERF Finance Officer may click the [Continue=>] button above the tabs to access the Task Option menu.
The button options will be as follows:
- [<=Go Back] (on the right of the screen) to return to the reporting template.
- [Acknowledge Financial Report] if the report is approved.
- [Send Report back for Redraft] if there are issues, assuring there is adequate CERF Finance feedback in the comments for Agency HQ Financial Team to address any questions, the CERF Finance Officer may send the report back for redraft. Additional comments may be added after selecting this option.
After acknowledging the Financial Report, if the CERF Finance Officer didn't add the Grantor Claim Number earlier, the number may be added now, as well as the date on which the report was recorded.
If the CERF Finance Officer opts to approve the report or send it back to Agency, they may leave an additional comment before clicking on the [Save & Finish] button.
A change of status notification will confirm that the system has processed the CERF Finance Officer request.
