Launch of the OneGMS

.
The new year marks the long-awaited launch of the OneGMS across CBPFs!  The release will happen on the 14th of January, and you will be able to launch your 2023 allocations from that date onwards on OneGMS (https://cbpf.unocha.org).    And since we know that some of the funds are on a time crunch to launch their 2023 allocations, you can already configure your 2023 HRPs related metadata (SO, SSO, standard indicators etc) on the online GMS. Our recommendation is that you connect with the GMS Support team and we can discuss and tailor the solution to your funds’ needs.   Please note that although you can configure your HRPs in advance, please do not create your 2023 allocations yet. This is crucial.  Please reach out to us at gms-support@ un.org in order to devise the best plan together for a successful OneGMS launch in your funds.  What can you do to prepare for the OneGMS launch?  You can engage on the training platform which you have already been given access to by email during Round 1 of trainings.  You can sit in and ask questions during the trainings organized to your HFU as well as reach out to us with any doubts you may have. You may configure your 2023 HRP metadata on the GMS (not the OneGMS training platform, the GMS itself) WITHOUT creating an allocation as it will get deleted if you create the allocation itself before the launch.  To know more about the new OneGMS system and its benefits and cool features, you can watch this video below.

Grantor Bridge Process (OneGMS and UMOJA)

The Grantor Bridge process between the One Grant Management System (OneGMS) and UMOJA is an online exercise to be undertaken by CBPF Finance Officers to link the approved and funded CBPF projects to their payment plan on UMOJA. The Grantor Bridge process enables the two platforms to share accurate information on the projects and related disbursement and funding data. This online bridge has been designed to avoid manually entering allocations’ and project’s information on the systems (OneGMS and UMOJA).
