  Once the ERC has endorsed the Initial Strategy and the Programme Officer drafted the Full Application email, the Window Lead can send the allocation broadcast to inform all the stakeholders of the details of the preliminary allocation: its geographical area, clusters and budget. The email will also provide the link to the CERF website to follow the allocation’s update.

Once the Initial Strategy has been drafted and submitted by the Country Office, the Programme Officer or the Window Lead can send the Initial Strategy to OAD for review.  OAD can review the form and add comments to the bottom of each tab if necessary.

After the ERC has endorsed the Initial Strategy, the Programme Officer (PO) can send the Acknowledgement Email. This task is usually done automatically by the system, but it might have been deactivated by the Window Lead during the creation of the allocation. CERF HQ will then have to send the email manually to all the allocation’s contact list to inform them that the Initial Strategy has been endorsed.
